Richards notes: In October 2015 when New Zealand retained their World Champions title they made history becoming the only country to win back to back World Cups. Incredibly although being ranked the world's best team since the competition began it took nerves of steel and cool heads to become the first team to achieve the elusive goal of double World Champions. Although all involved would say it was a team effort two names inevitably came to mind when thinking back to this momentous achievement. Captain Fantastic Richie McCaw and the peerless Dan Carter. When the final whistle blew at Twickenham last October I immediately thought of these two All Black legends standing back to back with the world cup but I also knew it would be technically too difficult to produce. However, the idea wasn't one I was ready to ignore and the new Richie McCaw was made always with his partner Dan Carter in mind. It has taken me a year to complete our tribute to one of the greatest rugby teams we have ever seen but it was something I felt had to be done. Man of the Match on the day, the new Dan Carter can now stand back to back with his captain. The figure also bears a commemorative inscription on the back base celebrating Dan's record breaking career.
