Max Boyce 50th Anniversary of ‘Live at Treorchy’ Commemorative Limited Edition
On the 23rd of November 1973 a young Max Boyce crossed the Rhigos mountain into the Rhondda valley where he recorded his iconic album “Live at Treorchy”. Recorded at Treorchy rugby club the album rocketed Max to fame with some of the record’s tracks becoming instant hits. “Hymns and Arias” in particular was soon adopted by Welsh rugby fans as an alternative anthem and has been sung at rugby stadiums by supporters all over the world.
This brand new Limited Grogg has been made to celebrate the Golden Anniversary of this unique event and also commemorates Max’s special contribution to modern Welsh poetry, music and Welsh culture.
